Foreign travelers eligible to travel to Kenya may need to complete a Health Surveillance online form to meet the COVID-19 safety requirements for the country.
Below you can find a complete guide to how to fill out a Kenya travel health certificate and how to submit the form when applying for a Kenya electronic visa online.
Under the Public Health Act CAP 242 of the laws of Kenya, it is now required for certain passengers to provide information to a Kenyan Port Health Officer through the submission of an online form prior to departure for the country.
The information provided on a Traveler Health Surveillance Form for Kenya is being collected as part of the public health response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Among other things, the form asks travelers to confirm they have a COVID-19 Negative PCR test certificate or proof of vaccination against COVID-19.
Only passengers with flu-like symptoms need to complete the travel health form. All other travelers do not need to follow this step.
Further COVID-19 health standards for Kenya remain in place, in addition to meeting the travel health certificate requirements.
To enter the country, most visitors must have either a vaccination certificate or a negative COVID-19 PCR test result.
Because these requirements might change at any time, it is critical to check the most recent entry restrictions for Kenya for modifications before traveling.
While applying for a Kenyan eVisa online, you can quickly receive the Kenya travel health certificate.
After completing a Kenya eVisa application form with personal, passport, and travel information, the applicant is sent to the payment page, where they must enter valid credit or debit card information in order to pay the visa processing charge.
For a modest cost, you can now include the submission of a Traveler Health Surveillance Form with your online visa application on this same page.
Once the eVisa has been completed and accepted, the applicant will receive a QR code after completing the form and submitting it with the application. This code must be submitted to port health officials upon arrival in Kenya in order for the traveler to be allowed through immigration.
